GitHub Actions cost calculator
Enter the minutes your jobs run each month at each memory size. See what that month costs on each vendor at the same memory, at list price and after their free allowances.
A month
How it is worked out
Each size is matched on memory, because a job that needs 16 GB needs it however many cores come with it. GitHub, Blacksmith, Ubicloud and Namespace attach 2, 4 and 8 vCPU to 8, 16 and 32 GB; FlameWill attaches 2, 2, 4. Prices are each vendor's list price per minute, read on its own page on 24 Oct 2026: GitHub's arm64 runners (its cheapest at each size), Blacksmith's x64 (its ARM runners have 3 GB per vCPU), Ubicloud's standard and premium x64, Namespace's prepaid rate.
Free allowances: GitHub's plan minutes cover only its standard runner (the 8 GB size here) in private repositories, and public repositories use standard runners free; Blacksmith gives 3,000 x64 2-vCPU minutes a month, used faster by larger sizes; Ubicloud gives $2.50 of credit; Namespace's Developer plan and FlameWill give none.
The minutes themselves can differ: a faster machine finishes sooner. The fairest test is your own most expensive job on two vendors. Details and sources: GitHub Actions runner pricing.
